Another record breaking event
At the 11th Loaves & Fishes lunch on 16 June 2004, Tim Samway was once more successful in his promotion of the fund and a grand total of $127,850 was raised .

Special Guest was our new Lord Mayor Campbell Newman, who spoke encouragingly about the importance of the cathedral to the City.

More than 440 guests received fish & chips cooked on the premises in record time by Richard Braim, Executive Chef who comes each year from Melbourne to do this for the cathedral, He was again supported by his regular volunteer cooks. Thanks to these and other volunteers who served meals and wine.

Dedication Festival dinner - Black Tie
Dinner in the Cathedral

This annual event was every bit the success it was expected to be.

The superb menu provided by Sheraton Hotel & Towers, accompanied by magnificent wines, set the scene for entertainment with music by Noel Coward provided by Guest Artists, Jeffrey Black, John Colwill and Liza Rintel.

Proceeds of the evening, $16,000, will be directed to the construction of the northern side of the West End.
