November 10 – Partnership
For God didn’t give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, of self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)
The Mulga Parrot offers a striking example of the transformative power of partnership. These vibrant birds form lifelong bonds with their mates, working together in perfect harmony to raise their young and navigate the challenges of their environment. Their commitment to one another is a testament to the strength that can be found in loving collaboration.
Just as the Mulga Parrots draw strength from their unity, we too are called to embrace the spirit of partnership in our lives. God has gifted us with a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline—qualities that are amplified when we join together in supportive relationships. By fostering connections rooted in love and mutual respect, we tap into a wellspring of courage and wisdom that enables us to face life’s trials.
Reflection:
-
How can I cultivate partnerships in my life that reflect the spirit of power, love, and self-discipline?
-
In what ways might I be holding back from fully embracing the strength that comes from collaborating with others?
Prayer:
Divine Creator, help me to recognise and embrace the transformative power of partnership. Grant me the courage to build connections rooted in love, and the wisdom to draw strength from the unity of shared purpose.
