November 24 – Cathedral of Creation

In your hearts, set Jesus apart as holy and sovereign. Should anyone ask you the reason for this hope of yours, be ever ready to reply, but speak gently and respectfully. (1 Peter 3:15)
In Western Australia’s Kimberley region lies the Bungle Bungle Range, a testament to the intricate artistry of the Divine. Cathedral Gorge, nestled within these ancient sandstone formations, stands as a natural amphitheater, its towering walls sculpted by the patient hand of time.
In this sacred space, where echoes reverberate with a profound presence, one cannot help but feel a deep connection to the Source of all life. The acoustics of Cathedral Gorge, so perfectly tuned by nature’s design, invite us to raise our voices in praise and gratitude for the wonders that surround us. Just as the gorge amplifies the whispers of the wind and the songs of birds, we are called to amplify the message of hope and love that resides within our hearts. With gentleness and respect, let us share the reason for our hope, allowing the beauty of creation to inspire others to seek the Creator.
Reflection:
-
How can I cultivate a deeper sense of reverence and wonder for the natural world, recognising it as a reflection of the Divine?
-
In what ways can I share my faith with others, using gentleness and respect, allowing the beauty of creation to be a catalyst for meaningful conversations?
Prayer:
Grant me the courage and grace to share the reason for my hope with others, speaking with gentleness and respect, and allowing the wonders of creation to be a testament to Your love.
