December 20 – The Galah’s Lesson

So make your minds ready for action, and be sober. Put your hope in nothing but the grace that will be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. (1 Peter 1:13)

The beautiful pink and grey Galah, displays a remarkable ability to adapt to a wide range of habitats. From the arid outback to urban parks and gardens, this resilient bird thrives in environments that are constantly shifting and evolving. In a similar way, life presents us with an ever-changing landscape of challenges and opportunities, requiring us to remain versatile and adaptable in our approach.

Just as the Galah relies on its innate wisdom and resourcefulness to navigate the complexities of its habitat, we too can draw upon the grace that is freely given to us through Christ. This Divine grace empowers us to face life’s uncertainties with courage, clarity, and hope. By anchoring our minds in the steadfast love of God, we find the strength to embrace change, knowing that growth often emerges from the most unexpected places.

Reflection:

  1. How can I cultivate a mindset of adaptability and resilience in the face of life’s challenges?

  2. In what ways can I open myself to receive and embody the transformative grace of God?

Prayer:

Divine Source of all wisdom and grace, grant me the flexibility and courage to navigate life’s complexities with a heart rooted in Your love. May I embrace change as an opportunity for growth and trust in the unfolding of Your sacred plan.
