The Seed of Divine Potential
Before anything was created, Christ existed, and all things hold together in Christ. (Colossians 1:17)
In the vast expanse of the outback, a bush tomato tiny seed lies dormant in the red earth, waiting patiently for the perfect conditions to spring forth into life. This seed, though small and seemingly insignificant, holds within it the potential for a magnificent plant to emerge. The seed’s journey from dormancy to full expression is a beautiful reminder of the Divine potential that lies within each of us, waiting to be awakened and nurtured.
Just as the bush tomato seed contains the blueprint for the plant’s growth and development, we too carry within us the imprint of the Divine. The Christ consciousness that existed before anything was created dwells within each of us, holding together all aspects of our being. When we take the time to be still and connect with this inner presence, we tap into a source of wisdom, strength, and resilience that can guide us through even the most challenging of life’s seasons.
Reflection:
1. In what ways can I cultivate stillness to connect more deeply with the Christ who holds all things together within me?
2. How does recognising Christ’s presence within me and others inspire my actions and decisions each day?
Prayer:
Divine Creator, thank you for planting the seed of your presence within me. Help me to nurture it with faith and trust, so that my life may reflect your love and purpose. May I draw strength from Christ, who sustains all things, as I grow into the fullness of Your design.
